Finding The Hidden Savings in Telecom

Most companies receive several calls a month or even a week from phone companies and vendors looking to
sell better rates or new technology.

If your company is like most, you are already familiar with how to reduce
your telecommunications “cost per minute” and circuit costs; which are the common telecom measures of
expense. But, outside of these surface costs, there is a hidden area of savings that requires digging a little
deeper in reviewing your telecom design.

You don’t need to be a network engineer to review your telecom design; you just need to have some basic
information.

Eliminating Unnecessary Features

Why are you paying for call forwarding and voice mail?

By pulling the customer service records of your LEC billing (local phone bills) you will uncover the line charge
components and any features on each line.

Most of these features will not show up on your invoice and you may be unaware of charges that can range from one to twenty dollars on each line and may be completely unnecessary. CLICK HERE for more info and examples!

Be sure to check “Other Providers” charges on your local
telecom bill.

Often these charges are from carriers such as;

  • ILD
  • USBI
  • Yellow Pages

 They represent billing for services like;

  • Voicemail
  • Internet
  • Long distance

Most companies do not order these services and the charges can

be as much as $49.95 a month PER LINE with long distance usage as

much as $1.50 per minute!
