TEMVentory©

TEMventory© is an auditing tool designed to assist companies in capturing their telecom inventory along with a one month snapshot of their telecom expenses.  The easy to use format enables the TEMventory© auditor  to:

  • Highlight  lines, circuits, features that may be removed
  •  Uncover any services that are spread across multiple PICS  / carriers that could be consolidated
  • Compare number of lines per location / usage per  location
  • Find unnecessary subaccounts or monthly recurring charges
  • Match line number on local bill with lines on long distance subaccounts to make sure all information is valid and you aren’t paying for lines that don’t belong to you.
  • Uncover services that are no longer needed
  • Provide right-size reports for excessive inventory at similar business centers
  • Tie services to proper location,GL code or Cost Center
  • Provide contract rate verification
  • Uncover services that may be going to closed locations

Customizable reports enable companies to quickly determine areas where unnecessary services can be disconnected and billing errors can be uncovered and resolved, often saving enough money to more than pay for the tool and the audit!  Reports show:

  • All carrier information
  • All circuits
  • All contract information
  • Summary of usage
  • Summary of inventory per location

TEMventory© provides an excellent precursor towards the initiation of a monthly Telecom Expense Management (TEM) process. Inventory can be allocated by location, cost center and GL code for easy integration in most TEM applications on the market today.

TEMventory© can be licensed by anyone interested in an inventory management tool through which they enter their own inventory and costs. Or we can complete a Telecom Audit of all services and costs, then license the tool for ongoing cost management within a company.

What TEMVentory does NOT do

·         It is NOT a wireless audit tool

o        Phone #, employee name and total charges can be collected

o        Texting, Rate Plans, are NOT captured in the tool

o        It can not save you money in wireless

·         It is NOT a Monthly Telecom Expense Management tool

o        It helps produce an accurate list of inventory to be loaded into most TEM Application providers

o        YOU can NOT enter multiple months of billing information to compare usage from one month to the next.

o        It Can give you a one time list of your invoices but NOT help you manage your invoices ongoing.

·         It is NOT automatically loaded

o        4T auditors manually load the information taken from invoices, Customer Service Records and when requested an onsite survey.

o        Why not load electronically?

§         Electronic loads are fraught with errors. It takes a trained professional with telecom experience to differentiate between account #s and circuit IDs.

·         Often electronic feeds cannot make the differentiation

·         Electronic feeds don’t always accurately capture the inventory

·         Because the bills are loaded manually the auditor can check other details on the bill that would not be captured by an electronic feed. Such as:

o        Contracts listed on the bill

o        Details found in the CSR

·         It does not tie the rates to the contract

o        Basic contract information can be put into the tool for tracking termination dates (start and end dates, commitment levels)

o        We will be adding a method to attach the actual contract through a browse tool. (scanned PDF file)

§         The contract would be housed on the customers computer/server/or4Ts server

What is needed from a client to start a TEMventory Audit

·         Contracts

·         All invoices

·         Customer Service Records

·         List of all locations (include those recently closed)
